Splits

Lifting in the morning πŸ‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈ then teaching, and some personal afternoon yoga practice.

At the beginning of January, I set myself a mini goal which was to feel more comfortable in the splits by March. Which is totally doable. I’m still learning to stay in the split, my initial instinct is to bolt πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ but I know that, in time, if I repeat it enough, it’ll feel like it’s the norm. The arms up takes it to another level of mobility and flexibility!! In my vid, I do a half split at the beginning and a lunge which is a good place to start if you are looking to improve your hamstrings and hip flexors which get tight from prolonged sitting.
